Father’s Day is June 21st so make your plans now to do something nice for Dad! My husband would settle for the all-you-can-eat seats at a Ranger’s Game but if the Father you are planning for isn’t in to unlimited hot dogs and baseball, check out some of these options:
*Blue Mesa Grill: I have mentioned this place in previous blogs because I have used them to cater wedding receptions. They also have a great Father’s Day Brunch on June 21st (8:30 am – 4 pm) at any of their restaurants across the metroplex. $16.95 per person includes an all-you-can-eat special buffet and unlimited champagne, Mimosas, coffee, tea or soft drinks. Children 6-10 years are $6.95 and kids under 5 are free.
*Snuffer’s: If your dad is a burgers and fries kinda guy, take him to Snuffer’s. There is a fairly new Snuffer’s in The Shops at Highland Village. In my opinion, they have the best cheese fries ever!
*Father’s Day at Lone Star Park: The first 200 men (age 21+) to enter through the park’s gates will have an opportunity to win a propane gas grill in the Father’s Day Fishing Contest. The first contestant to catch the specially marked fish wins!
*Crickle’s: Treat Dad to breakfast in bed without slaving over the stove! Stop by Crickle’s (located inside NY Sub Hub in Corinth on FM 2181) and pick up homemade cinnmon rolls, breakfast tacos, muffins or whatever Dad loves best for breakfast. Call ahead for any special orders: 214-476-2568.
As far as gifts go, there are a lot of great sales coming up (Macy’s, Kohls, Sports Authority) so check store websites and circulars to get the best deals! Most of all, tell your Father or Father-figure how much you love him. That’s the best gift of all.
